Cletus Dlamini is a seasoned wildlife conservationist and tourism specialist with over two decades of experience shaping large-scale conservation projects across Southern Africa. With a Master’s in Wildlife Management and a postgraduate degree in Travel and Tourism Management, he has dedicated his career to transforming untouched landscapes into thriving wildlife reserves built on sustainable tourism models.
Currently, Cletus leads as Director of Conservation at Zambezi Tambara Conservancy SA, driving initiatives in habitat restoration, biodiversity protection, and eco-tourism development. He also serves as President of the Savannah Biome Foundation, championing the preservation of savanna ecosystems through scientific research, biomimicry, policy advocacy, and community engagement.
An entrepreneur at heart, Cletus has co-founded ventures such as Cletus & Joe Safaris (South Zambezi Outfitters), Mashongwe Resources Pvt Ltd, and Africa Geo-Wild Journeys—all dedicated to advancing sustainable tourism, wildlife management, and responsible resource utilization. His expertise has made him a trusted consultant for numerous wildlife and tourism organizations across Africa.
Beyond conservation, Cletus plays a pivotal role in infrastructure and mineral resource investments. As Investments Director for Projects & Mineral Resources at Infra-Fin Advisory Institute, he spearheads international investment promotion, forging strategic partnerships between leading EPC companies and investors in mineral resources and large-scale infrastructure projects.
